Après deux années passées à composer, composter, répéter, repiquer, enregistrer, Aurélie Dorzée & Tom Theuns récoltent enfin le fruit de leur travail : « The Seven Gardens » Cet opus particulier, ils l'ont réalisé sous une forme seventies: celle d’un double album concept comprenant 21 titres répartis dans 7 jardins musicaux. Chaque jardin possède sa propre athmosphère : folk, baroque, cabaret, humour, oriental, érotique & tropical. Emporté par la fièvre du chiffre 7, ils chantent en 7 langues (français, néerlandais, wallon, italien, allemand, latin et anglais), 7 poètes (Prévert, Rilke, Claus, Van Ostaijen, Aragon, Ovidius et … nous) sur 7 instruments (viola d’amore, violon, mandoline, violon trompette, mandoloncelle & guitare). A dater de ce jour, un jardin vous sera présenté chaque mois via les canaux électroniques. Nous ouvrirons le printemps avec « The Garden of Remedies » Pour la pochette, ils ont utilisé les superbes peintures de l’artiste français Clotaire Lehoux.

Na twee jaar componeren, composteren, repeteren, uitzaaien en opnemen kunnen Aurélie Dorzée et Tom Theuns hun zevende album oogsten. En dat mocht eens iets speciaal zijn : het is een seventies-achtig dubbelalbum geworden met maar liefst 21 tracks verdeeld over 7 muzikale tuinen. Elke tuin heeft zijn eigen sfeer : folk, barok, cabaret, humor, orientaals, erotisch en tropisch. Met die 7 zijn we eigenlijk een beetje doorgedraaid: ze zingen in 7 talen (Frans, Nederlands, Waals, Duits, Engels, Latijn en Italiaans) met teksten van 7 dichters (Prévert, Van Ostayen, Claus, Rilke, Aragon, Ovidius en wij) en we gebruikten 7 instrumenten (viool, viola d’amore, trompetviool, mandoline, mandocello, sitar en gitaar ) Vanaf nu wordt elke maand wordt er één tuin gereleased via de gebruikelijke streamingkanalen en we openen de lente met folk: “The Garden of Remedies”. After two years of composing, rehearsing and recording Tom & Aurélie  proudly present their seventh album with the label Homerecords. Due to the amount and diversity of the material, it has become a double album with no less than 21 tracks divided over 7 musical gardens. Each garden has its own atmosphere : folk, baroque, cabaret, humour, oriental, erotic en tropical.They became a little bit obsessed with the number 7 so they sang in 7 languages (French, Walloon, Dutch, German, English, Latin and Italian), the lyrics are by 7 poets (Prévert, Van Ostayen, Claus, Rilke, Aragon, Ovidius and …us) and they used 7 instruments (violin, viola d’amore, trumpetviolin, mandolin, mandocello, sitar en guitar) . Each month we will release a garden on the major distribution platforms. We will open springtime with folk : “The Garden of Remedies”.
