For this record Melike went searching for the essenceof her own sound which can be best described as etno-pop/ roots: western music with eastern fringes and crazy guest musicians. Each track is a playful musical story with sharp edges at times.

TARHAN is the first English project of singer-songwriter Melike Tarhan. In the past she successfully combined eastern and western influences in different Turkish projects such as Macar, released with Longdistance/ Harmonia Mundi and Zumurrude, released with Homerecords.be. Her latest album 'Inn of Love', was released in october 2014 with the Belgian label https://homerecords.be/ and in april 2015 in Turkey with KALAN Müzik.
