Soledad Kalza and Sina Kienou are respectively rooted in strong traditions such as improvisation, protest singing and text songs, Mandingo culture, the plains and maquis. Their new album Atlanti Kaw, «Peuple Atlantique», occupies this common space without renouncing the singularities that constitute them. In French, Dioula and Spanish, they sign at homerecords 10 compositions. Each one is a photograph of the world where poetry and music try to name, repair and draw new utopias, connecting the past with the future, the visible and the possible.
