El Rebbel

Two rustic oboes, the tible and the tenora, with their typical Catalan timbre, engage in a dialogue with a trombone, a tenor sax, a bass sax and a drum. El Rebbel's music is, at one and the same time, lively, serious, captivating and festive and is at home in the street and the philharmonic hall alike.

Massive Central's repertoire occupies the crossroads between folk music from Medieval times to the present, classical music and new compositions, all arranged by Dick van der Harst in his highly individual style. Both new and freshened-up 'old' compositions plunge the listener into a Harstian universe, full of contrasts, surprises and musical nods and winks.
