Rémi Decker (° 1983) is a Belgian musician, self-taught multi-instrumentalist of international renown. He is grows up in a musical environment and starts to play the bagpipes at the age of 10.
Driven by his enthusiasm and curiosity, he goes to work as an autodidact. He wins several competitions and is regarded as a young virtuoso. Whistles increases over the years its rightful place alongside the bagpipes. He is also recently developping a personal, quirky, and efficient guitar playing.
Rémi Decker finds a good balance between tradition and creativity and his projects are bursting with originality, virtuosity and emotion. He is at home on folk, jazz or classical music venues.
